Hound House Bed & Breakfast is a separate wing of this pretty 17th century thatched house affording guests privacy and comfort. A private entrance leads to the sitting room/breakfast room and upstairs there are two beautifully decorated bedrooms and a large bathroom. There is off-street parking and a large cottage garden behind the house.

We are located in the heart of the historic and beautiful village of Yetminster, just 5 miles from the abbey town of Sherborne and the larger town of Yeovil. Perfectly situated to explore the dramatic Jurassic Coast and the stunning Dorset countryside, it is a walkers’ and cyclists’ paradise with many National Trust properties and beautiful gardens close by. We are surrounded by lots of good pubs and restaurants and we are happy to make recommendations and reservations.

Yetminster has its own pub, village shop, gallery and coffee shop. There is also a small railway station which connects the village to Bath/Bristol and the coast at Weymouth and the main line to London.
